Scripture Reading

1 Corinthians 1:26-29

For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.
Reflection
God's selection criteria consistently confound human logic. He recruits from the margins, equips the overlooked, and accomplishes his purposes through those the world would never choose. This is not accidental — it ensures that the glory returns to where it belongs. If you feel unqualified today, you may be exactly where God wants you.
Prayer for Today
El Shaddai, God Almighty, You are great and Your mercy is everlasting. You are creator of the universe and nothing is too difficult for You to handle.

Nothing can compare to Your love, Father. You are my all sufficient God, worthy of all praise and honour. Hallelujah to You, my Redeemer, my Strongtower, My All in All!

James 4:6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Romans 5:1-2 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Amen.
