Scripture Reading

Luke 1:78-79

...because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Reflection
Zechariah's song uses the image of sunrise: not a harsh midday light but the gentle first light that arrives before you ask for it. God's mercy is like that — it precedes our seeking, arrives before our eyes adjust, and guides rather than blinds. Whatever darkness you are sitting in today, the sunrise has already been sent.
Prayer for Today
Father, today is a new day and thus, a very different experience from last time. So I ask that you guide and help me be a better judge of all situations, tasks, and decisions that I'll meet today. Lord, always pick the best for me, regardless if I'm working or playing with my loved ones. Thank You for answering my prayerand In Jesus Name I pray.

Amen.
