Jeremiah 31:33
"For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people."
Reflection
The old covenant was written on stone; the new covenant is written on hearts. The difference is not merely material but relational — law carved into stone is external, law written on the heart is desire. God's goal has always been a people who do not merely obey him but who love what he loves. Ask him today to write more deeply on yours.
Prayer for Today
Dear prayer warriors, please keep my brother-in-law, Tom, in your prayers. Last week they found a huge mass in his lung. And, please keep my sister and her family in your prayers during this difficult time. God bless you and yours.
