Scripture Reading

Lamentations 3:25-26

The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
Reflection
Holy Saturday is the day of silence — Jesus lies in the tomb, the disciples are scattered and grieving, and the world does not yet know what Sunday morning will bring. Lamentations was written in the rubble of Jerusalem, and yet it arrives at this: waiting quietly for the Lord is itself a form of trust. In every season of silence and apparent absence, the call is the same — wait, for he is good, and salvation is coming.
Prayer for Today
Father in Heaven,

I feel so sad, because my heart is broken. I have lost the feelings of love in this relationship. I feel empty and so bewildered by what has happened.

You are my rock, my help in times of trouble.I need you. I need your restoration, your love and hope in my heart. I trust you can heal the brokenness I feel.

Amen.

Amen.
