Scripture Reading
Isaiah 1:18
"Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool."
Reflection
God does not shout down the sinner or banish them from his presence. He invites a conversation: come, let us reason together. And the terms he offers are staggering — sins stained as deep as crimson will be made as white as snow. This is not minimizing sin but maximizing grace. No color of guilt is too dark for the bleaching power of divine mercy.
Prayer for Today
Ancient of Days, I ask you to please forgive all my sins. Please enable me with grace to serve you with godly fear. Help me to maintain a consistent relationship with you, and help me to serve you with purity. Empower me through your Spirit to make conscious efforts to satisfy you at all time, so that it can be well with me throughout the days of my life. For in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
