Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
Reflection
The logic of Christian forgiveness runs in one direction: we forgive because we have been forgiven. The measure is not the size of the offense but the depth of what Christ absorbed on our behalf. When forgiving feels impossible, it is often because we have not fully received the grace that was first extended to us. Return to the cross before you return to the conflict.
Prayer for Today
Ancient of Days, I ask you to please forgive all my sins. Please enable me with grace to serve you with godly fear. Help me to maintain a consistent relationship with you, and help me to serve you with purity. Empower me through your Spirit to make conscious efforts to satisfy you at all time, so that it can be well with me throughout the days of my life. For in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
