Scripture Reading

Psalm 91:1-2

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
Reflection
A shadow is only comforting when the sun is fierce. This psalm was not written for mild days but for times of real threat, when the shelter of God becomes essential rather than optional. The promise is not immunity from danger but a dwelling place within it. Make him your refuge before the heat arrives.
