Scripture Reading

Psalm 36:7-9

How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light.
Reflection
The psalmist's vision of life with God is luxuriant — feasting on abundance, drinking from rivers of delight, sheltered in the shadow of wings. God is not a grudging provider giving minimum rations to those who comply; he is a fountain of life, a host with an abundant table. This is what we were made for: to live in the overflow of God's own life. Wherever you find yourself today — in plenty or in scarcity — you are invited to drink from the fountain that never runs dry.
Prayer for Today
Your blessings make us rich, and You add no sorrow with it. Thank You for leading me to true prosperity including things money cannot buy.
Proverbs 10:22

Amen.
