Scripture Reading

Genesis 12:2-3

"I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."
Reflection
God's covenant with Abraham is not merely a private arrangement but a universal promise: all peoples on earth will be blessed through him. The story of salvation is not tribal but global from the very beginning — one family chosen so that all families might be reached. We who are in Christ are children of this promise, and we carry the same mandate: to be a blessing to all peoples, not a private club for the already convinced.
Prayer for Today
God, the Father of all mercies, is faithful to cleanse us from our sins and restore us to Christ's image. Praise and glory be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! Amen.

Amen.
