Scripture Reading
Psalm 118:22-23
The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.
Reflection
What the world discards, God often chooses as the foundation of something extraordinary. The rejected stone becoming the cornerstone is fulfilled in Christ, who was crucified by those who should have recognized him and raised by the Father as the head of a new creation. This pattern runs through history: God delights in choosing the overlooked. Where in your life might the thing you have dismissed actually be the cornerstone?
Prayer for Today
Our Savior Jesus Christ dedicated the bulk of his time to performing numerous miracles in His time on earth. Though, He is not the only one, as we have prophets like Elijah whose faith in the Lord could command down fire from the Heavens to prove an eternal point that God existsand He's the source of all miracles. In light of such, you can say miracles are not limited to healing only.
Amen.
