For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
Reflection
Fear is not from God. This is a simple, clarifying truth for anxious hearts. The spirit God has given us is characterized by three gifts: power (the capacity to act), love (the orientation toward others), and self-control (the discipline to choose well). These three together describe a fully functioning Christian character — someone who is neither passive nor reckless, neither timid nor reckless. The antidote to fear is not bravado but the Spirit-given combination of power, love, and wisdom.
Prayer for Today
Please God help me , I want my boyfriend back in my life , he is my best friend , he is the only one who made me feel happy . Make him talk to me and love me again , I promise You that I will be always on his side , until my last day ! I need You Jesus
