If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
Reflection
James makes a remarkable promise: wisdom is not earned through long study alone but is given freely to those who ask in faith. God does not interrogate us about why we need it or keep score of our failures before granting it. He gives generously and without blame. Whatever decision or difficulty lies before you, bring it honestly to God and ask for the gift of wisdom.
Prayer for Today
Universal Creator, grant us resilence in the face of hate, and the courage to face it with dignity. May we all unite and share one another's pain and tears. May the hatred in the world melt away in Your boundless and everlasting love. And living in Your Will, may all find peace, harmony and serenity.
